Heather Leslie

Heather Leslie was appointed Chief Counsel for the Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety (Energy Safety) on April 23, 2025. From 2021 until her Energy Safety appointment, Leslie served as the assistant general counsel at the California Natural Resources Agency. From 2015-2021, she was a deputy attorney general at the California Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General. Leslie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from University of California, Berkeley and holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law.
