The Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety (Energy Safety) is leading the state’s effort to change how utilities build, operate, and maintain their electrical grids to reduce the risk of utility-ignited wildfires amid an ever-evolving climate. Energy Safety has a dedicated team of engineers, scientists, inspectors, attorneys, and policy analysts who are pushing utilities to be smarter and more efficient in how they identify and target their wildfire mitigation activities.
