The Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety (Energy Safety) published draft Wildfire Mitigation Plan (WMP) Guidelines on September 1, 2026. Energy Safety will host a public workshop on September 24, 2026, to present the draft WMP Guidelines and take public comments and questions. Members of the public; local and regional agencies, boards, tribes, commissions; and other interested parties are invited to participate and submit questions.
