Area of Continual Excavation, Investigation & Enforcement

The California Underground Facilities Safe Excavation Board’s proposed rulemaking to establish definitions for certain terms used in the proposed regulations, investigation and enforcement processes, and onsite meeting and agreement requirements for areas of continual excavation near high priority subsurface installations has been updated, and posted for a 15-day public comment period beginning January 23, 2020 and ending February 6, 2020.
