Energy Safety Releases Draft Decisions on Horizon West Transmission, Trans Bay Cable, and LS Power 2023-2025 Wildfire Mitigation Plans

Publication Initiates Public Review and Comment Period

 

Sacramento – The Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety (Energy Safety) today released its draft decisions on Horizon West Transmission (HWT), Trans Bay Cable (TBC), and LS Power’s 2023-2025 Wildfire Mitigation Plans (WMP). Publication of the draft initiates a 30-day public review and comment period.

 

Opening comments must be received no later than Jan. 2, 2024. Reply comments must be received no later than Jan. 12, 2024. All comments must be submitted to Energy Safety’s e-filing system and the 2023-2025 Wildfire Mitigation Plans docket (2023-2025-WMPs).

 

In April, Energy Safety held a public workshop on the 2023-2025 WMP submissions from Horizon West Transmission, Trans Bay Cable, and LS Power Grid California. The electrical corporations made presentations and stakeholders were able to ask questions.

 

Energy Safety’s final decisions on Horizon West Transmissions, Trans Bay Cable, and LS Power’s 2023-2025 WMPs will be released in late January.
