SACRAMENTO – The Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety (Energy Safety) today released proposed updates to its Wildfire Mitigation Plan (WMP) Compliance Guidelines. Release of the draft guidelines initiates a 30-day public comment period.
The guidelines provide requirements that the electrical corporations must follow during and after their annual WMP compliance period. The proposed guidelines will be considered for adoption at a public meeting (to be scheduled) and written public comment will be accepted until July 5.
