Sacramento – The Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety (Energy Safety) today released its evaluation and approval of Horizon West Transmission (HWT)’s, Trans Bay Cable (TBC)’s, and LS Power’s 2023-2025 Wildfire Mitigation Plans (WMP). Energy Safety’s approvals move to the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) for ratification.
Energy Safety approved PG&E’s WMP on Dec. 29 and Bear Valley Electric Service’s WMP on Nov. 6. There are two remaining 2023-2025 WMPs (Liberty Utilities and PacifiCorp.) under Energy Safety review and evaluation.
