The Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety Reposts Solicitation for Applicants Interested in Becoming Qualified Independent Evaluators

The Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety (Energy Safety) is soliciting interest from qualified applicants to serve a one-year term as Independent Evaluators (IEs). IEs assist Energy Safety with technical inspections, assessments, and evaluations of risk-reduction actions and strategies developed by California’s electric corporations in completing their Wildfire Mitigation Plans.

As a result of this Request For Qualifications (RFQ), in consultation with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE), a list of qualified firms will be created from which the electrical corporations will engage an IE for a one-year term. Interested applicants can find additional details of the RFQ through the California Department of General Services (DGS) Cal e-Procure system here: Event Details (ca.gov).

Energy Safety originally posted RFQ 21-89482 from 11/05/21 – 12/07/21. This is a re-post of that same RFQ. Those that responded to RFQ 21-89482 before 12/07/21 do not need to submit an application again.
