SACRAMENTO – The Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety (Energy Safety) today rejected and ordered resubmission of the Liberty Utilities’ (Liberty) 2025 Wildfire Mitigation Plan (WMP) Update. Liberty failed to follow Energy Safety’s WMP guideline requirements in submitting its plan. Liberty must make its plan complete and submit a revised plan by Sept. 3 for Energy Safety to conduct a substantive evaluation. Public comment will follow Liberty’s revised plan submission.
