WSAB Publishes Final Adopted Recommendations on Additional Wildfire Mitigation Plan Requirements/Performance Metrics and Safety Culture Assessment

The Wildfire Safety Advisory Board (WSAB) today published final adopted recommendations to the Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety (Energy Safety) on additional Wildfire Mitigation Plan Requirements/Performance Metrics and Safety Culture Assessment.

The WSAB provides these recommendations to Energy Safety as it updates its 2023-2025 Wildfire Mitigation Plan (WMP) Guidelines. These recommendations are applicable to the Investor-Owned Utilities (IOUs), Independent Transmission Owners (ITOs) and Small and Multi-Jurisdictional Utilities (SMJUs) (collectively “utilities”).
