Sacramento, CA – The Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety’s (Energy Safety) Underground Safety Board will host a public workshop, both in-person and via Microsoft Teams, on February 24, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The purpose of this workshop is to help identify potential requirements for a planning and design information exchange and to consider statewide impacts on current operations. Stakeholders will have an opportunity to provide input to inform regulatory development required in Government Code 4216.1, which become operative July 1, 2027.
