Revised Wildfire Mitigation Plans Pursuant to Public Utilities Code section 8386.4(b)(3) and Wildfire Mitigation Plan Updates
Sacramento – The Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety (Energy Safety) will hold a virtual public workshop (via Microsoft Teams) on April 21, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The purpose of the workshop is to gather feedback and information that will aid Energy Safety’s development of the Wildfire Mitigation Plan (WMP) Guidelines as they relate to a Revised WMP process in alignment with Senate Bill 254 (SB 254) requirements and WMP Updates. Members of the public, local and regional agencies, boards, tribes, commissions, and other stakeholders are invited to participate in the public workshop.
