DESCRIPTION:The Wildfire Safety Division (WSD) will be hosting a virtual workshop on September 29\, 2020\, covering the Wildfire Mitigation Plan (WMP) Compliance Process proposal. Details on how to join the virtual workshop are listed below. \nStaff’s presentation at the workshop will reflect an overview of the content listed in the proposal. Due to the virtual platform for the workshop\, the WSD will be collecting stakeholder questions via the “chat box” in Webex and read them to the presenters for a response\, time permitting. In addition\, the WSD has asked for certain stakeholders to be prepared to respond to the WSD proposals during the workshop. Responding stakeholders are chosen to represent a diversity of opinions. An agenda will be sent to Service List R.18-10-007 prior to the workshop. \nPlease note that the expedited comment period (14-days from the day of this notice) and submit written comments on the workshop presentations and associated staff proposals via email to info@energysafety.ca.gov by October 2\, 2020\, at 5:00 p.m. PDT.
